Based in Honolulu, Hawaii, Kona Abergas is a musician, vocalist, and songwriter. As an artist, he seeks to fuse his favorite genres of jazz, R&B, neo soul, hip-hop, and contemporary to create a soulful, versatile, and authentic sound.
Kona is also a worship leader at his home church in Honolulu, Hawaii. His unique upbringing and diverse musical artistry has allowed him to travel around the world and share the gift of music.
Kona’s love for music started as early as he can remember. He learned how to play the ukulele at the young age of four and started singing at the age of nine. Kona credits his growth in music to his unique upbringing that includes being a worship leader, a former member of the Kamehameha Schools Concert Glee Club, a director in the prestigious Kamehameha Schools Song Contest, and performing Hawaiian music for much of his youth. Throughout his life, he has also learned how to play the guitar, bass, piano, and drums.
Through his music, Kona desires to positively impact the people he meets and spread a message of love and inspiration to those around him.
