Kings Kalohelani, recently made the move from Hawaii to Nashville, bringing with him a rich musical heritage and an impressive resume. A 2006 graduate of the prestigious Kamehameha Schools, Kings pursued his passion for music by earning a degree from Pacific Lutheran University (PLU) in Tacoma, Washington. During his time at PLU, he distinguished himself as a member of the world-renowned Choir of the West and the University Symphony Orchestra, and participated in various musical theater productions, showcasing his versatility and depth as a musician.
In addition to his performance talents, Kings is an accomplished sound engineer. As the former lead sound engineer at 'Iolani School, a role in which he leverages his expertise to deliver high-quality audio experiences. Furthermore, he owns and operates his own live-sound company, Kingsound, through which he provides professional sound engineering services for a variety of events and performances.
Kings draws inspiration from a diverse array of artists, including Zac Brown, Teddy Swims, Allen Stone, Shania Twain, and Kalapana. This eclectic mix influences his music, making it resonate with audiences of all generations. Whether performing as a solo artist or with his Nā Hōkū Hanohano award-winning group, Walea, Kings delivers captivating performances that reflect his deep musical roots.
Now based in Nashville, Kings continues to expand his musical horizons, bringing the rich cultural heritage of Hawaii to new audiences while embracing the vibrant musical landscape of his new home.
